Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze transportation data for Louisville metro area
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications for state compliance
- Coordinate with local agencies, contractors, and community stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic modeling software
- Knowledge of Kentucky transportation standards and FHWA regulations
- Strong project management and communication skills
