Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of complex transportation infrastructure projects
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze multimodal transportation systems
- Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and construction plans
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Utilize GIS and CAD software for project visualization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and transportation modeling software
- Experience with environmental documentation (NEPA/SEPA)
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Knowledge of WSDOT standards and federal regulations
