Responsibilities
- Design and oversee transportation infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and interchanges
- Conduct traffic analysis and transportation planning studies using industry-standard software
- Prepare technical specifications, plans, and cost estimates for construction projects
- Coordinate with contractors, municipalities, and federal agencies during project implementation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Manage project budgets and timelines while maintaining quality standards
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for engineering reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 3 years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic simulation software
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD, TxDOT standards, and federal regulations
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
