Responsibilities
- Perform field surveys and data collection for transportation infrastructure projects
- Analyze traffic patterns and recommend design modifications
- Prepare technical reports, plans, and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers on roadway, bridge, and drainage systems
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations
- Manage project documentation and CAD drawings
- Conduct site inspections during construction phases
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- 2+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Knowledge of MUTCD standards and ADOT specifications
- Ability to obtain EIT certification within 12 months
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with GIS mapping systems preferred
