Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in planning, designing, and implementing transportation infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources for multimodal transportation initiatives
- Coordinate with local governments, contractors, and community stakeholders
- Develop engineering solutions for complex transportation challenges
- Oversee quality control and risk management for all assigned projects
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of progressive transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State
- Experience managing multimodal transportation projects (roads, bridges, transit)
- Expertise in FHWA/WSDOT standards, permitting processes, and contract administration
- Strong leadership skills with team management experience
- Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Washington driver's license
