Responsibilities
- Oversee design and construction of highway rehabilitation projects in Baltimore County
- Conduct traffic impact analyses and recommend infrastructure improvements
- Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and project documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and local government agencies
- Ensure compliance with MDOT standards and federal transportation regulations
- Manage project budgets and timelines using project management software
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and transportation modeling software
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD and state highway design standards
- Experience with Maryland DOT project delivery processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Maryland driver's license
