Responsibilities
- Analyze traffic data and conduct field surveys to support infrastructure planning
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings using CAD software
- Assist in developing transportation improvement projects and cost estimates
- Review construction plans for compliance with state/federal regulations
- Coordinate with contractors and local agencies during project implementation
- Document project progress and maintain accurate technical records
- Participate in public meetings to present project information
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- 2+ years of experience in transportation engineering or construction
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and transportation modeling software
- Valid Indiana Driver's License with clean record
- Familiarity with INDOT standards and FHWA regulations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
