Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of roads, bridges, and traffic signals
- Operate heavy machinery including snow plows and asphalt spreaders
- Document maintenance activities using digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Respond to emergency weather events and traffic incidents
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and state safety regulations
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Residency in Massachusetts required
