Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive transportation planning strategies for Dallas metropolitan area
- Analyze traffic patterns and infrastructure data using GIS and modeling software
- Collaborate with city officials and community stakeholders on public transit projects
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for state funding applications
- Oversee environmental impact assessments and compliance with federal regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing multimodal transportation initiatives
- Monitor project budgets and ensure timely delivery of planning milestones
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of transportation planning experience with government agencies
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, TransCAD, and traffic simulation software
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) or AICP certification required
- Demonstrated experience with NEPA documentation and federal compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license
