Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of roadways, signage, and traffic control devices
- Operate heavy machinery including snow plows, sweepers, and pavement markers
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls during severe weather events
- Document work activities and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement traffic flow improvements
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and MassDOT safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
