Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of transportation infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and transit systems
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and funding requirements
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives with community groups, contractors, and elected officials
- Oversee environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies
- Implement risk management protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for executive leadership and public forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation project management or infrastructure development
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proven expertise with FHWA and CDOT regulations, procurement processes, and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
- Exceptional communication abilities for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex stakeholder relationships
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
