Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and checked baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Conduct thorough pat-downs and inspections to detect prohibited items and security threats.
- Enforce security regulations and screening procedures in strict accordance with federal policies.
- Assist travelers with questions and ensure a professional, customer-service-oriented environment during high-volume periods.
- Maintain high standards of physical fitness and be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
- Document screening results and report any anomalies or security concerns immediately to Supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and medical exam.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
