Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings of passengers, carry-on and checked baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Identify potential threats, weapons, or dangerous items and take appropriate action to ensure safety.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the traveling public, explaining screening procedures clearly and effectively.
- Monitor security checkpoints and adhere to all TSA security protocols and regulations.
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain an efficient and secure screening environment.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check, including fingerprinting, drug screening, and medical exam.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
