Your Mission
You will serve as the first line of defense for air travel security. Your responsibilities will involve operating advanced screening equipment and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items using X-ray machines and metal detectors.
- Operate advanced imaging technology and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures to prevent threats to transportation security.
- Provide clear, calm, and professional customer service to travelers while maintaining security focus.
- Identify, report, and resolve potential security breaches or anomalies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status required.
- Must successfully pass a background investigation, including a criminal history check and fingerprinting.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift) and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent vision (corrected if necessary) and the ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
