Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and CT screening equipment to detect prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Perform passenger screening procedures, including the use of advanced imaging technology and physical pat-downs.
- Identify and report security threats or suspicious behavior to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to travelers during high-pressure situations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, security regulations, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Document screening results accurately in the Security Information System (SIS).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient throughput and passenger flow.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, including a criminal history check.
- Must pass a medical examination and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
