Responsibilities
- Perform security screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect prohibited items.
- Operate X-ray screening equipment and advanced security devices accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct physical searches and pat-downs in strict accordance with TSA regulations and protocols.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in security documentation and passenger profiles.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and effective communication skills with the traveling public.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, operational procedures, and security directives at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth checkpoint operations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to pass a medical exam, including vision and hearing tests.
- Strong English language proficiency is mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
