Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on bags, and cargo for prohibited items using advanced scanning equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections according to TSA protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity with appropriate escalation
- Maintain detailed logs of security incidents and screening procedures
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security breaches
- Train on new security technologies and updated screening procedures

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency for operating security systems
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
