Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray screening equipment and explosive trace detection systems to identify prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Conduct thorough pat-downs and physical searches of passengers and their belongings.
- Monitor and manage security checkpoints to ensure compliance with TSA protocols and regulations.
- Effectively communicate with travelers, providing clear instructions and assistance during screening processes.
- Identify, assess, and report potential security threats or anomalies to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and situational awareness in high-pressure environments.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Must be able to pass a background check, medical exam, and drug screen.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift weights up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow strict procedures.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
