Responsibilities
- Conduct Security Screenings: Operate advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo for prohibited items.
- Enforce Regulations: Apply TSA security directives and regulations consistently to maintain a secure environment.
- Patrol and Monitor: Patrol screening checkpoints to identify potential security threats and maintain order.
- Customer Service: Assist travelers with questions regarding screening procedures in a professional, calm, and courteous manner.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and security breaches.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect screening equipment daily and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a federal background investigation, including a criminal history and fingerprint check.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Drug Testing: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical Agility: Ability to perform physical duties, including standing for long periods, lifting bags, and walking.
