Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, property, and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using X-ray screening equipment.
- Perform physical searches and pat-downs on individuals and their belongings as required.
- Assist travelers with disabilities or special needs to ensure a safe and smooth screening process.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with passengers in a high-volume environment.
- Adhere to all TSA security directives, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Report any security breaches or suspicious activities immediately to supervisors.
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational demands.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history and fingerprinting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
