Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Identify potential security threats, prohibited items, and dangerous materials.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols strictly to ensure passenger and aircraft safety.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to travelers.
- Patrol screening lanes and assist travelers with accessibility needs.
- Complete accurate reports regarding security observations and incidents.
- Adhere to all physical requirements, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- No felony convictions or outstanding warrants.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict security procedures.
