Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo at security checkpoints.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment.
- Conduct pat-downs and bag inspections to detect prohibited items.
- Enforce TSA security regulations and directives.
- Identify and report potential security threats immediately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with travelers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and physical fitness assessment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- No disqualifying criminal history.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
