Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Patrol and secure the screening checkpoint area to ensure a safe environment.
- Enforce federal laws and security regulations strictly and impartially.
- Identify and report potential security threats or suspicious behavior.
- Operate screening equipment and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
- Assist travelers with accessibility needs while maintaining security protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and meet physical requirements (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
