Responsibilities
- Operate advanced X-ray screening equipment to detect prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Perform physical screening procedures, including pat-downs and metal detector operations.
- Verify travel documents and identify passengers for screening.
- Assist travelers professionally and de-escalate potential conflicts with courtesy.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and adhere to strict security protocols at all times.
- Document screening results and report any suspicious activities to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, drug screening, and medical assessment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and ability to distinguish colors.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
