Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Perform pat-down searches and bag searches in strict accordance with TSA security procedures.
- Operate screening equipment and accurately document findings.
- Assist travelers with special needs and provide courteous, efficient customer service.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and stamina to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure airport environment.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status (must be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Proficiency in the English language (reading and speaking).
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
