Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to detect prohibited items.
- Interact professionally with travelers, providing clear instructions and assistance while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
- Monitor surveillance equipment to identify potential security threats and respond immediately to emergencies.
- Adhere strictly to all TSA security protocols, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Document findings accurately and report any irregularities or suspicious activities to supervision.
- Operate and maintain screening equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning correctly.
- Perform bag checks and physical screenings as required by the situation.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
