Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and checked baggage using X-ray machines and advanced imaging technology.
- Identify and prohibit items that pose a threat to aviation security.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the traveling public in a high-volume environment.
- Perform bag checks and pat-downs when security protocols require it.
- Adhere to strict TSA security regulations and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized screening checkpoint area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient passenger flow.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must pass a federal background investigation and drug screening.
- Excellent vision (with or without corrective lenses) and physical fitness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
