Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items and explosives.
- Operate X-ray screening equipment and advanced imaging technology accurately and efficiently.
- Interact professionally with the public, enforcing security regulations with a customer service focus.
- Maintain situational awareness and identify potential security threats.
- Perform bag searches and pat-downs in accordance with TSA protocols.
- Document findings and communicate critical information to supervisors.
- Assist in the recovery of lost and found items.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
