As a TSA Security Screener, you will play a critical role in securing the nation's transportation systems. Responsibilities
- Operate advanced screening equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, to detect prohibited items.
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo according to strict security protocols and regulations.
- Interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Write detailed incident reports and complete necessary documentation accurately and timely.
- Conduct physical searches of individuals and their property when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in screening lanes.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and bending.
- Must possess the ability to read and understand written instructions and English language proficiency.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
