Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to identify prohibited items and potential security threats.
- Operate advanced security screening equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
- Interact professionally with the traveling public, providing clear instructions and maintaining a courteous demeanor during high-pressure situations.
- Adhere to strict federal security protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of the transportation infrastructure.
- Document all screening activities, observations, and incidents accurately in official security logs.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and alertness throughout your shift to ensure readiness at all times.

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
- Ability to pass a TSA background check and medical fitness for duty examination.
- Must possess the ability to distinguish colors and see clearly (corrected vision is acceptable).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress environments.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
