Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Identify prohibited items and enforce security directives strictly and consistently.
- Monitor screening equipment to ensure optimal performance and report any technical malfunctions immediately.
- Assist passengers with questions regarding screening procedures and provide exceptional customer service during stressful situations.
- Respond quickly and effectively to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in accordance with TSA standards at all times.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to pass a medical examination, drug screening, and background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Secret security clearance.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
