Responsibilities
- Operate advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to screen passengers and carry-on baggage.
- Perform physical pat-downs, bag checks, and wanding procedures in accordance with TSA security directives.
- Identify potential threats or prohibited items and take immediate, appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Assist passengers with special needs and provide clear, professional instructions to ensure a smooth screening process.
- Monitor screening lanes to maintain operational flow and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Document screening activities accurately and report any irregularities to supervision immediately.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a TSA background investigation, medical screening, and drug test.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Excellent vision (corrective lenses permitted) and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
