Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and CT screening equipment to detect prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Perform physical passenger screenings, including pat-downs and advanced imaging technology screening.
- Enforce federal security regulations and procedures strictly and impartially.
- Identify potential threats or security breaches and take immediate appropriate action.
- Assist passengers with security procedures and answer inquiries professionally.
- Monitor security checkpoints to ensure flow and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure airport environment.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and medical exam.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Good vision (with or without correction) and hearing ability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
- No felony convictions within the last seven years.
