Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray technology and advanced imaging systems.
- Patrol screening lanes to ensure security compliance and identify potential threats or prohibited items.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures in a professional, calm, and courteous manner.
- Interact professionally with passengers to ensure a safe, efficient, and secure screening experience.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve security breaches or irregularities immediately.
- Assist in training new screeners and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Background: Ability to pass a background investigation, including a fingerprint check, and pass a drug screen.
- Physical: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and have the ability to pass a medical examination.
- Skills: Excellent observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
