Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and property using advanced imaging technology and physical inspection methods.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive trace detection equipment.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols to ensure the safety of the traveling public.
- Identify prohibited items and take appropriate action to resolve security threats.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate clearly with passengers of all backgrounds.
- Document screening results and assist with passenger inquiries and assistance.
- Adhere to strict dress code and grooming standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screen and medical evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Meet physical requirements, including the ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
