Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal compliance regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA) across 15+ departments
- Conduct quarterly audits and prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for regulatory violations
- Train 50+ staff members on updated compliance protocols and procedures
- Liaise with DOJ and other federal agencies during compliance investigations
- Lead cross-functional compliance committees with department heads
- Manage compliance documentation systems and maintain audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of federal compliance experience with healthcare or government agencies
- Active SHRM-SCP or CCEP certification required
- Expert knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and federal procurement regulations
- Proficient in compliance software (e.g., MetricStream, RSA Archer)
- Proven track record of leading regulatory change initiatives
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
