Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Coordinate incident response protocols for cybersecurity breaches
- Develop security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Train federal staff on cybersecurity best practices
- Manage security audits and compliance reporting
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT-related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Expertise in Windows/Linux system hardening
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks
