Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze federal policies related to border security and emergency response
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for congressional stakeholders
- Collaborate with state/local agencies on disaster preparedness initiatives
- Conduct statistical analysis of security operations and compliance metrics
- Represent the department at intergovernmental meetings and public forums

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proven expertise in drafting legislative proposals and impact statements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS-specific certifications
