Responsibilities
- Manage and process high-volume government documents, applications, and correspondence with precision and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens and stakeholders regarding public records and departmental procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the coordination of inter-departmental meetings and prepare comprehensive meeting minutes and reports.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems to ensure data integrity and easy retrieval.
- Conduct research on legislative updates and prepare briefings for senior administration officials.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to improve operational workflows and service delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or government-related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government case management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines during peak periods.
- Must pass a standard background check and drug screening as required for government employment.
