Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislation and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for legislative review
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on public health initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports for state legislators and executive leadership
- Monitor federal compliance requirements for state programs
- Manage stakeholder communications with community organizations
- Lead cross-functional projects on social equity initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years government policy analysis experience required
- Expertise in Tennessee state legislative processes
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- US citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Experience with grant compliance reporting
- Certification in Public Policy (CPP) preferred
