Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain the organization's local and wide-area network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure, install, patch, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365 environments.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize hardware resources.
- Document network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent military/technical training.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT system administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and VPN configurations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State of Texas Driver's License.
