Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools to detect and mitigate cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate system weaknesses.
- Manage user access controls and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, documenting findings and recovery actions.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO, and FedRAMP security standards through regular audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust security architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, Security+, or CEH.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network defense.
- Proficiency with firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder briefings.
