Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud-based federal infrastructure
- Collaborate with federal agencies to share threat intelligence and best practices
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security recommendations
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Train federal personnel on cybersecurity awareness protocols
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Certification in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network analysis
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
