Responsibilities
- Manage and support federal agency IT infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% system availability.
- Enforce compliance with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and NIST security protocols.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to analyze technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
- Conduct system audits, document configurations, and maintain accurate records for audits.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance to junior staff and federal clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT environments.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and virtualization platforms.
- Strong understanding of network security, risk management, and data privacy laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
