Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for federal clients with minimal supervision.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain servers, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Credential Management: Assist in the process of maintaining and validating security clearances and IT certifications per federal standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, incident reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Compliance: Ensure all IT activities adhere to NIST, FISMA, and other federal security regulations.
- Customer Service: Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and professional technical guidance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or equivalent technical roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP/IP).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
