Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) for federal government clients.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems to ensure operational integrity.
- Analyze system performance and implement security protocols to protect sensitive federal data.
- Coordinate with state and local agencies to ensure seamless data interoperability.
- Provide technical support and training to staff regarding federal compliance standards.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure adherence to cybersecurity frameworks.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a valid Secret Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent military experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT support or systems administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and travel to various federal sites within the region.
