Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal government systems and internal networks.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software solutions in compliance with federal security standards (NIST/FISMA).
- Monitor system performance and respond to incidents with rapid response times to ensure minimal downtime.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in the central IT ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new federal software deployments and security patches.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing technical support in a government or federal contracting environment.
- Experience with Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in network protocols, TCP/IP, and firewall management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
