Responsibilities
- Manage Payroll Administration: Process and verify daily pay requests and ensure accurate disbursement of funds for state and federal employees.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain strict adherence to OPM (Office of Personnel Management) and state-level federal compliance regulations.
- Agency Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between federal agencies and local government bodies regarding staffing and project requirements.
- Employee Relations: Support daily operations by resolving administrative inquiries and maintaining employee records with 100% accuracy.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports regarding labor hours, project status, and budget utilization for state oversight.
- Onboarding Support: Assist in the daily onboarding process for new hires in federal contracts, ensuring all paperwork is processed timely.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance.
- Education: Associate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal or state-level payroll processing or administrative support.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and payroll management software (e.g., SAP, ADP, or similar).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior government officials.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
