Responsibilities
- Analyze and Optimize: Evaluate existing government IT systems to improve efficiency and data accuracy for county operations.
- System Implementation: Oversee the deployment of new software solutions and integrate them with legacy databases.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to strict government regulations and privacy laws.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to internal government departments and staff.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture and standard operating procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with city officials and federal agencies to align technology strategies with broader community goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or a similar role within the public sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java, and experience with government cloud platforms (e.g., FedRAMP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- Certifications: PMP or CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
