Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex federal information systems in compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Lead technical requirements gathering sessions with government stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Oversee the implementation of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices within the development team.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive federal data.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Prepare and present detailed status reports to federal program managers and compliance officers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting, government IT, or defense sector environments.
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience with ITIL v4 framework and Agile/Scrum project management.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# for system integration and automation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
